On the occasion of the traditional feast of San Martino, Col Sandago, a winemaking jewel of Martino Zanetti, located in the heart of the D.O.C.G. of Prosecco Superiore Conegliano Valdobbiadene, welcomes all enthusiasts and invites you to immerse yourself in a unique experience of art, history and taste among the vineyards of the Marca Trevigiana. With an extraordinary opening of the Cellar and Wine Shop, Col Sandago offers visits to the cellar and tastings of a selection of its fine wines throughout the day. To welcome visitors, along the tour route, some significant works by Martino Zanetti act as a backdrop to a day of refinement and discovery of the world of Col Sandago.
The activities scheduled in detail:
Guided tours of the Cellar: to discover the behind the scenes that leads from the grape to the glass.
Half-hour tours are scheduled both in the morning and in the afternoon, with a tasting of your choice between DOCG and Wildbacher Rosè.
Wildbacher Experience: a masterclass dedicated to the vine that has found a place of choice in Col Sandago. Wildbacher, a “rare diamond with a thousand facets”, is a vine from Styria that grows like a small, great masterpiece in the hands of the expert agronomists of Col Sandago: the design of the rows is meticulous and the harvest of the small bunches with compact, slightly pulpy grapes is done strictly by hand. Participants will be able to discover the history of this precious vine and taste its references: Metodo Classico, Wildbacher IGT, the red symbol of Col Sandago, Wildbacher Brut Rosé VSQ and Dagobethus Rosso Passito.
Champagne Experience: guided masterclass to discover the refined line of Champagne Martin des Orsyn, the result of the fortunate combination of Martino Zanetti’s entrepreneurial vision and the experience of a small cave in the Montagne de Reims, in whose characteristic cellars the Martin des Orsyn cuvées are born. A journey that will take you to the French lands of Champagne, between the villages of Sermiers and Chamery up to the Vallée de la Marne and will make you explore the uniqueness of the ancient champenoise method. Four Premier Crus will be tasted: Tradition, Rosé, Grande Réserve and Vintage 2018 for a unique sensory experience in the deepest suggestions of the terroir of origin.
Other suggestions for thematic tastings will be available in the Cellar with the possibility of purchasing tasting packages on site for the wines Col Sandago DOCG, Easy Art Limited Edition, Wildbacher and Champagne Martin des Orsyn.
Wine shop open: to conclude the visit by taking home your favorite wine, Champagne or other excellences of the Hausbrandt Group: Hausbrandt coffee, Theresianer beer, and the new products dedicated to Christmas.
