Path of the Front. From Falzarego to Lagazuoi. A window on the Dolomites.
It starts from the Falzarego Pass and runs calmly (stopping to take a breath) and photographing with your eyes (or with the camera) the wonderful Belluno Dolomites. A path that will fill your eyes and soul with beauty and love for these wonderful mountains that only we are lucky enough to have in our #Veneto. We live in an Earthly Paradise. Let’s enjoy it, rediscover it, enhance it in these summer months of reopening and rebirth Sentiero del Fronte

STARTING POINT: FALZAREGO PASS
Path of the Front:
This wide and well-marked path that runs along the front line on the Lagazuoi during the Great War does not present dangerous situations and can be traveled by everyone.

USEFUL DETAILS AND ASCENT AND DESCENT OPTIONS

At the Falzarego pass, next to the parking lot of the Lagazuoi cable car, the well-marked path no. 402 which can be covered without any difficulty up to the Travenanzes saddle (2507 m altitude).
Turn left on path n. 401 and you reach the Lagazuoi saddle (altitude 2572).

Continuing on you will arrive at the Lagazuoi refuge (very close to the top station of the Lagazuoi cable car) and with a short walk from here you will reach the summit cross of the Piccolo Lagazuoi peak (2778 m), a wonderful panoramic point that ranges from Civetta to Pelmo, from Antelao to Tofane, from Odle to al Sella and to the Alpe di Fanes group.
The descent can be made by the same ascent route, doubling the travel time, or by cable car.
