Villa Parco Bolasco reopens to the public
On Saturday 8 and Sunday 9 May the University of Padua reopens the complex of Villa Parco Bolasco in Castelfranco Veneto, which can be visited on weekends and holidays with reservations required at least one day before the visit.

The complex dates back to the years between 1852 and 1865 and was born at the behest of Count Francesco Revedin, who entrusted the design of the villa and the romantic garden to the architect Giambattista Meduna. With the contribution of Marc Guignon and Francesco Bagnara the garden was designed, according to the fashion of English landscape gardens.

Populated by more than a thousand trees and a rich fauna, Villa Parco Bolasco is home to a large area consisting of a lake and two islands, fed by the waters of the Avenale stream. Part of the garden are also the horsewoman, a semicircular Moorish-style greenhouse, two dovecote towers and the cavana for sheltering boats.

A heritage of extraordinary beauty that the University of Padua has chosen to tell the public also through the new website of Villa Parco Bolasco, online since the beginning of May, for a visiting experience that begins digitally and provides information and content both through navigation through a web application dedicated to the architecture and trees of the splendid historic garden.

The park of the Villa will be open on Saturdays, Sundays and holidays with reservations required at least one day in advance of the date of the visit.
