Exhibition “Lost Hangar, Dinosaurs Revealed” until 30 November

“Lost Hangar, Dinosaurs Revealed” is designed for families and children of all ages, ranking among the richest and most complex exhibition and virtual reality experiences of recent years.

Direct contact with the physicality of the dinosaurs, also thanks to ramps that will literally allow visitors to look at the world from their point of view, is the simplest and most immediate way to delve into the characteristics of our planet’s ancient fauna.

It will be a rigorous scientific project that will provide an unprecedented understanding of the biological and evolutionary peculiarities of dinosaurs.

The exhibition will go through all the periods, from the Triassic to the Jurassic to the Cretaceous, the most represented and the one that is the backdrop to the feathered revolution whose direct descendants we still know today. The epilogue will start with an analysis of the most credited hypotheses on the mass extinction of the dinosaurs, including the most credited hypothesis of the asteroid collision, marking the transition from the Mesozoic era, the age of dinosaurs, to the Cenozoic era, the age of mammals, in order to stimulate topical reflections in visitors on the possible risk of extinction of the human race.

Part of Pavilion 1 of the Fair will be dedicated to the fossilisation process analysed with paleontological excavation techniques thanks to the presence of a large sandpit.

The exhibition is organised by Venice Exhibition.
