Padua Jazz Festival 2022 – from 3 to 26 November

The Padua Festival will be a free-style journey through the countless aesthetic possibilities of Jazz.

On the programme will be performances by international artists and leading exponents of the Italian music scene: Dave Holland, Kenny Garrett and new emerging talents such as Joey Alexander and Joel Ross; Enrico Rava with Danilo Rea, Dario Deidda and Roberto Gatto, Gegè Telesforo, Claudio Fasoli,Roberto Ottaviano,Ruggero Robin,Piero Principi and in the most relevant female jazz of Linda May Han Oh, Melissa Aldana, Rossana Casale, Silvia Bolognesi.

Each week there will be a hat-trick of consecutive evenings, characterised by a strong cohesion between them. The festival will also change residence, touching on the city’s main stages: Teatro Verdi, Multisala MPX, Centro Culturale San Gaetano and venues never before seen for the event, such as the Aula Rostagni of the University of Padua and the Auditorium La Casa della Musica in Pianiga.

On 27 October, the festival opens at Caffè Pedrocchi with pianist Giovanni Perin. In addition, as per tradition, the concerts will be flanked by Jazz@Bar events that will bring live music to numerous venues.

The Scuderie di Palazzo Moroni will host an exhibition by photographer Mirko Boscolo.
