About seventy crews from Italy and abroad for a full immersion in the UNESCO Hills. An unprecedented route and the novelties of the event, which intersects wine tourism, art, local traditions and vintage cars.
Follina, San Pietro di Feletto and Susegana passing through Conegliano, with a guided tour of the Sala dei Battuti and the famous Pala del Cima, up to Valdobbiadene with an exclusive Masterclass in the cellar.
This year too, the show is guaranteed, both for the participants of the Centomiglia and for vintage car enthusiasts who will have the opportunity to admire authentic automotive jewels up close, such as the 1933 three-wheeled Morgan 1100 super sport, the 1927 Bugatti T37, the oldest “lady” of the group, and the 1938 Riley 12/4. The appointment is for Friday 4 and Saturday 5 October.
Now in its 19th edition, the Centomiglia celebrates the birth of the Strada del Vino Bianco in 1966, now Strada del Prosecco e Vini dei Colli Conegliano Valdobbiadene. The tourist-sports event reserved for vintage cars and organized by the Strada itself – which has made it its flagship – in collaboration with the Consorzio di Tutela Conegliano Valdobbiadene Prosecco DOCG and the Club Serenissimo Storico welcomes this year about seventy crews, coming from Emilia Romagna, Friuli Venezia Giulia, Lombardy, Tuscany, Trentino Alto Adige, Veneto and from Austria, Germany, England, France and Switzerland.
The program is as always rich and varied; it extends over one hundred and sixty kilometers to be covered in two days along a suggestive itinerary that passes through the municipalities of Cison di Valmarino, Conegliano, Farra di Soligo, Follina, Miane, Pieve di Soligo, Refrontolo, San Pietro di Feletto, Sernaglia della Battaglia, Susegana, Valdobbiadene and Vidor.
There will be stops with tastings in prestigious and renowned wineries and, for the first time, a Masterclass at Canevel (Sunday 6 October) held by Diego Tomasi, director of the Consorzio Tutela Vino Conegliano Valdobbiadene Docg, who will guide participants in the discovery of the wines of the area and their history.
After the car rallies in the squares of Follina (Friday 4 October) and Valdobbiadene (Saturday 5 October), the Centomiglia will dive into the Renaissance art of Conegliano, with a visit to the frescoes of the Sala dei Battuti and the Altarpiece by Giambattista Cima, to finally immerse itself in the colors and sounds of the drummers and flag-wavers of the Dama Castellana.
The event is sponsored by the Veneto Region, the Association for the Heritage of the Prosecco Hills of Conegliano and Valdobbiadene, the Municipalities of Conegliano, Follina and Valdobbiadene and the support of Novamobili and Donadel Racing.
