Verona. “The World of Banksy – The immersive experience” exhibition until Jan. 29

The immersive itinerary of this new exhibition features more than 100 works including six life-size murals never before exhibited including “Madonna with a Gun” and “Migrant Child” and created by young international street artists that tell the story of the world of the mysterious British artist, famous for ironically tackling important political issues and social complaints.

Alongside the most iconic masterpieces that have made Banksy famous worldwide, the exhibition also features a special video section, iBanksy, which traces the history and social message of the murals created by the artist in streets, walls and bridges around the world.

Banksy’s goal is to bring to light through his works the problems that plague contemporary society and to raise awareness among viewers of the issues of consumerism, war and power through the use of metaphorical, humorous, provocative images with immediate visual impact.

This exhibition, like all previous exhibitions devoted to Banksy’s art, is not authorized by the artist. The exhibition is on two levels, and is fully accessible.

The exhibition can be visited Tuesday through Sunday from 10:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. (last admission 6:30 p.m.). Closed on Mondays.
