Monday 19 May at Ca’ del Poggio, an evening with the voices of Eurosport’s Luca Gregorio and Moreno Moser. Anecdotes, stories and myths of cycling on the eve of the Corsa Rosa
San Pietro di Feletto (TV), 15 May 2025 – The week of the Giro d’Italia will kick off at Ca’ del Poggio with an exceptional evening: on Monday 19 May, on the Muro where the Corsa Rosa will pass again on Sunday 25 May, ‘Cane Vecchio Sa-Und’ will take to the stage, a format created by Luca Gregorio and Riccardo Magrini, popular voices of Eurosport, which brings cycling to music.
The project takes its name from one of Magrini’s catchphrases that made the duo’s commentary famous: when Magrino gets a prediction right or anticipates a tactical move in the race, he says, ‘Perché vedete, cane vecchio sa’ (‘Because, you see, an old dog knows’). This gave rise to the name ‘Cane Vecchio Sa-Und’, which was chosen by fans.
An evening of music and cycling, featuring anecdotes, stories and legends, which will see Luca Gregorio himself on stage at Ca’ del Poggio, accompanied by his inseparable guitar, and Moreno Moser, himself a popular Eurosport commentator after a seven-season professional cycling career (and nephew of Francesco) from 2012 to 2019.
It will be the ideal prologue to the Grande Festa Rosa, open to all enthusiasts, which will take place on Sunday 25 May on the Muro di Ca’ del Poggio, coinciding with the passage of the fifteenth stage, the Fiume Veneto-Asiago, of the Giro d’Italia.
Organised in collaboration with the Conegliano section of the AIA (Italian Automobile Association), the evening with ‘Cane Vecchio Sa-Und’ will begin at 8.30 p.m. For information and reservations: grandieventi@aiaconegliano.it
