Great success for the inaugural edition of the running event created by Cantina Viticoltori Ponte with the aim of raising awareness among the male population on the topic of urological diseases
Ponte di Piave (Treviso), 21 June 2025 – Great success for the inaugural edition of the Corsa del Solstizio – Ponte in Blue. Around 900 runners and walkers took part in the running event in Ponte di Piave, which started from the square of Cantina Viticoltori Ponte and continued in the suggestive naturalistic context of the Piave.
Organized by Cantina Viticoltori Ponte with the patronage of the Municipality of Ponte di Piave and the collaboration of Nuova Atletica Tre Comuni and the Pro Loco of Ponte di Piave, the Corsa del Solstizio – Ponte in Blue was created with the aim of raising awareness among the male population on urological diseases. So there were many men at the start, even though the event was naturally open to women as well.
There were two routes: one 4.5 and the other 9 kilometers. At the start, the mayor of Ponte di Piave, Paola Roma, and the representatives of the other municipal administrations of the area, the president of the Consorzio Prosecco Doc, Giancarlo Guidolin, the director of the Cantina Viticoltori Ponte, Luigi Vanzella, and the representatives of LILT, the Italian League for the fight against tumors, were applauded, to whose delegation of Oderzo part of the proceeds from the event will be donated.
Running and more: after completing the two routes, a rich Pasta Party welcomed the participants in the Cantina square. Following, a DJ set with Riccardo Furlan (dj Furly). After the beautiful debut, see you in 2026. For Ponte in Blue it is only the beginning.
