In the heart of Valdobbiadene, the “Land of vines and wine,” stands the Tenuta Torre Zecchei winery, owned by Eli Spagnol. A farmer who, together with his wife Daniela, daughter Elisa, and son-in-law Tiziano, brings his extensive experience, deep love for the land, and passion for winemaking to life every day—focusing above all on the quality of his wines. The family-owned vineyards are a precious asset for the estate, and they provide the majority of its wine production. Passion for the land, respect for nature, and a deep appreciation for tradition are the principles driving the continuous improvement of product quality.
Every phase of production is overseen personally: from harvesting to vinification, from sparkling wine processing to bottling, packaging, and direct sales. The family bond is the true strength of the estate. From a meticulous selection of the best grapes, all hand-picked with great care, comes most of the winery’s production. From the Valdobbiadene Superiore D.O.C.G. Millesimato—the estate’s flagship wine—to the Prosecco D.O.C., both Frizzante and Spumante, and the Valdobbiadene Superiore di Cartizze D.O.C.G.: wines known for their freshness, drinkability, and ability to delight and satisfy every customer.

Special attention is also given to consumers who are particularly sensitive to additives and preservatives in wine. For them, the winery created “Bonorivo,” a sparkling wine made without the addition of sulfites during vinification and processing. It is produced exclusively from grapes grown in a vineyard with a naturally favorable, sun-exposed location, which requires minimal chemical treatment.
This approach helps preserve the wine’s authentic character, making it ideal for more sensitive palates while respecting both nature and consumer well-being. In this regard, fifteen municipalities within the D.O.C.G. zone have joined forces to protect the land, uphold the controlled and guaranteed designation of origin, and safeguard public health—thanks to a unified regulation governing the use of phytosanitary products in agriculture. This document contains 16 articles focused on managing plant protection treatments and their application in the vineyards. The grapes harvested by the estate comply with the Viticultural Protocol of the Valdobbiadene Conegliano D.O.C.G., reflecting a daily commitment to preserving the production area and the beauty of its landscape.

In 2019, the unique landscape of the Prosecco Hills was recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site—an acknowledgment of the cultural and environmental value of one of Italy’s most significant wine regions. Environmental responsibility is also a priority. In 2011, the estate installed a photovoltaic solar power system to meet its energy needs, significantly reducing its environmental footprint. Renewable energy sources offer clear advantages—not only for the estate itself but for future generations: they do not pollute, they are inexhaustible, they help keep the planet clean, and they promote savings.
Tradition, love for the land and the craft, respect for nature and its inhabitants, warm family hospitality, and the pursuit of quality: this is Tenuta Torre Zecchei.
