Conegliano (Treviso), January 14, 2026 – Is the party here? Absolutely yes. Music, confetti, streamers and plenty of fun for everyone. On Sunday, January 18, in Tarzo and Pieve del Grappa, the 2026 edition of Carnevali di Marca gets underway.
The Tarzo event is steeped in tradition: not only because it marks the 42nd parade of allegorical floats held in the town, but also because it has become customary for the festival, organized by the association chaired by Redo Bezzo, to start right here—this year jointly with Pieve del Grappa.
Included in the 35th Festa della Candelora, which features three weekends of celebrations and events through early February, the parade will begin at 2:30 p.m. and will be organized by the Pro Loco, in collaboration with the Carnevali di Marca association.
The event will open with a dance performance by the Movimento Fitness gym group of Tarzo. Then, accompanied by commentator Moreno Meneguz, no fewer than ten masked floats will parade through the streets of the town, the result of the ingenuity, creativity and passion of volunteer groups connected to parishes, schools and festival committees.
The expected floats include those of the Parish Group of Nervesa della Battaglia (“The Looney Tunes Gang”), Gruppo Coriandolando per Pieve di Soligo (“The Lion King”), Allegra Comitiva of Bidasio di Nervesa della Battaglia (“The Explorers”), Festeggiamenti Association of Sernaglia della Battaglia (“Among Waves and Smiles”), Ragazzi Anni 80 Association of Lovadina (“Raga 80 in Flight”), Gruppo Quei de Soligo (“Up Soligo Flies, Soligo Dreams”), Gruppo Fon Fierun of Corbanese (“Corbanese Cortina 2026”), Gruppo Amici di Susegana (“Super Mario”), SimpaBersa of San Stino di Livenza (“Dancing with the Gods”) and Gruppo dell’Allegria of Maserada (“A Sea of Ideas”).

The day will fill the center of Tarzo with celebration and joy, music and color. In addition, in Piazza IV Novembre, the first Sunday of the Festa della Candelora will be accompanied by an exhibition market of agricultural machinery and local products.
As mentioned, Sunday, January 18 will also feature celebrations in Pieve del Grappa. The float parade, hosted by Alessandro Masini, will begin at 2:30 p.m. and will follow a route from Paderno to Crespano. Entertainment for everyone will take place in the main square in Crespano. The afternoon of festivities is organized by the Pro Loco of Crespano, Carnevali di Marca, and the Municipality of Pieve del Grappa.
The parade will open with the Caterina Basso Preschool and Integrated Nursery (“Bee Happy! The Carnival of the Bees”), followed by the Parents and Children Group (“United Sheep, Problems Halved”), the float of the Gruppo Amici di Levada (“Toy Story”), Caerano Macchietta – La Gang Sfribollina (“The Minions”), the float of APS Fuorigiri Group of Losson della Battaglia (“Wreck-It Ralph”), Sant’Eulalia Macchietta Group (“A Smile on Four Wheels”), Friends of the Roncade Carnival (“The Dancing Tribe”), Gruppo Giovani Fietta and Paderno (“Umpagiovani – The Chocolate Factory”), Gruppo Giovani of San Giorgio in Brenta (“Kindness Extinguishes Violence”), Nati per Caso Group (“Dream, Boy, Dream”), Friends of the Carnival – Gruppo Giovanni Dal Monte (“Let’s Say Goodbye to Sadness, Joy Has Arrived”), the ‘Vita e Lavoro’ Cooperative (“A Dance of Colorful Emotions”), and the Team Costruttori allo Sbando of Cornuda (“The Smurfs”).
The 2026 edition of Carnevali di Marca will continue until Tuesday, February 17, Shrove Tuesday. The official presentation of the festival is scheduled for Saturday, January 17, at 11:00 a.m., at Ca’ del Poggio Ristorante & Resort in San Pietro di Feletto. The celebration begins: long live Carnival!
