Carnevali di Marca 2026: weekend events in Soligo, Carbonera, Giavera, Pieve and Mareno

On Saturday 31 January the parade takes place in Soligo, while on Sunday 1 February the celebrations move to the town squares of Carbonera, Giavera del Montello, Pieve di Soligo and Mareno di Piave.

The magical Carnival season of Carnevali di Marca intensifies with a packed programme: no fewer than five events are scheduled between Saturday 31 January and Sunday 1 February. The third weekend of the season features parades in Soligo, Carbonera, Giavera del Montello and Pieve di Soligo, while Mareno di Piave once again hosts the family-friendly event that proved very popular at its debut last year.

FARRA DI SOLIGO

In Soligo, on Saturday 31 January starting at 2.30 pm, with live commentary by Roberto Biz and Federico Campodall’Orto, the third edition of the allegorical float parade will take place. The event is organised by the Municipality of Farra di Soligo and the local Pro Loco association, in collaboration with Carnevali di Marca.
The parade will start from the Pro Loco festival area and wind its way along Via dei Colli, Via Muratori, Via dei Bert, Via San Gallo and Viale Bon Bozzolla. After the parade, celebrations will continue throughout the evening at the Pro Loco area. Eleven floats are expected to take part.
The opening float will be presented by the Gruppo Fon Fierun of Corbanese (“Corbanese–Cortina 2026”). Other highlights include floats from Gruppo Coriandolando for Pieve di Soligo (“The Lion King”), Comitato Colombere (“The Tribe of the Royal Eagle”), Gruppo San Rocco of Gaiarine (“Alice in Wonderland”), Gruppo Amici di Levada (“Toy Story”), Gruppo Quei de Soligo (“Up Soligo flies, Soligo dreams”), Comitato Carnevale di Selva (“101 Dalmatians”), Sempre quei di Tezze (“Gongolando con pontezze”), Associazione Carnevale Insieme Signoressa (“Paw Patrol”), the “Le Grazie” Pastoral Unit and the group I Rabaltai from Ciano del Montello.

CARBONERA

In Carbonera, on Sunday 1 February, the allegorical float parade will start at 2.30 pm from Via 1° Maggio and end in Piazza Fabris, in front of the town hall. A distinctive feature of the event is the strong involvement of schools and local associations: 22 groups and floats will take part, with live commentary by Silvia Sartorel.
Organised by Carnevali di Marca, the parade will open with the Gruppo Amici dello Schnappvieh of Villorba and the historic Majorettes Onda Azzurra of Jesolo. They will be followed by numerous school groups, sports clubs and associations, as well as many themed floats, including “Lilo & Stitch”, “Toy Story”, “Super Mario”, “Ralph Breaks the Internet” and many others, making it one of the most vibrant and participatory events of the season.

GIAVERA DEL MONTELLO

In Giavera del Montello, on Sunday 1 February, the highly anticipated Carnevale del Mazariol will take place, organised by the Pro Loco in collaboration with the municipal administration and Carnevali di Marca. From 2.30 pm, accompanied by the voice of Jessica Dal Bo, carnival groups will fill the town centre with colour, music and striking scenery.
The parade will open with the Associazione Carnevalesca di San Gaetano di Montebelluna (“Nettuno ci può giudicare”), followed by groups from across the Veneto region with themes ranging from The Smurfs to the Milano–Cortina Olympics. The closing float will be presented by the Comitato Colombere (“The Tribe of the Royal Eagle”).

MARENO DI PIAVE

In Mareno di Piave, on Sunday 1 February, the Carnival Village returns to the Carnevali di Marca programme after its successful debut last year. From 2.30 pm to 5.30 pm, Piazza Municipio will host an event dedicated to families and especially children, featuring music, baby dance, street performers and a costume parade for young participants.
The afternoon will be further enhanced by the involvement of local associations, including the Pro Loco Vivi Mareno, which will run a well-stocked food stand.

PIEVE DI SOLIGO

In Pieve di Soligo, on Sunday 1 February from 2.30 pm, one of the most traditional parades of the Carnevali di Marca season will take place. The procession of floats will pass through several streets and squares of the town centre.
Commentated by Federico Campodall’Orto, the parade will open with the Corpo Bandistico and Majorettes of Maser, followed by numerous parish groups, associations and carnival committees, with themes ranging from Pirates of the Caribbean and The Looney Tunes to The Lion King and Alice in Wonderland.

All updates on the Carnevali di Marca parades will be available on the website www.carnevalidimarca.it and on the association’s social media channels (Facebook page “Associazione Carnevali di Marca Treviso” and, for the Treviso parade, “Carnevale Trevigiano”).
