Ca’ del Poggio Run crosses the finish line of solidarity

The charity cheques from the running event that on October 19 brought together more than 2,500 runners and walkers were presented last night at Winner x Eat’s in Conegliano. A total of €4,200 was donated to the Associazione Zuppa di Sasso of Nervesa della Battaglia, the Fondazione Figli di Maria Antonietta Bernardi of Conegliano, and Ricrearti Lab Savno in Rosa. This year’s race will take place on October 18: registration is now open.

Conegliano (Treviso), February 21, 2026 – Once again this year, the Ca’ del Poggio Run has crossed the finish line of solidarity, bringing together sport, local identity, and social commitment. This winning combination has always defined the running event held last October 19 in the heart of the Conegliano Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore DOCG hills, also passing over the famous Muro di Ca’ del Poggio, the iconic climb through the vineyards that on May 28 will, for the ninth time (third consecutively), be featured as a passage point in the Giro d’Italia.

Last night, as guests of Winner x Eat’s in Conegliano, the presidents of the seven sports clubs organizing the Ca’ del Poggio Run (Fuel to Run, E20Run, Cimavilla Running Team, G.P. La Piave, Running Team Conegliano, Scuola di Maratona Vittorio Veneto, and Amici di Lutrano), united since 2024 under CdPR Asd, officially donated part of the proceeds from the 2025 edition.

A cheque for €1,400 was presented to each of the three associations selected to receive the charitable contribution: Associazione Zuppa di Sasso, based in Nervesa della Battaglia, which provides counseling and support to parents, teachers, educators, and professionals dealing with behavioral and learning disorders in children and adolescents; the Fondazione Figli di Maria Antonietta Bernardi of Conegliano, which focuses on the education, assistance, and care of minors facing social hardship; and Ricrearti Lab Savno in Rosa, an initiative created to provide concrete support to women victims of violence, helping them reintegrate into society through creative activities.

“We are pleased that the third edition of the Ca’ del Poggio Run exceeded expectations,” commented Luca Vazzoler, organizational coordinator of the Ca’ del Poggio Run, joined by Alberto Stocco, honorary president of CdPR Asd. “In just three years our event has already become a major happening, but we aim to grow even further, both in the number of participants and partners. The results we are achieving and the enthusiasm in the air show that our territory is full of positive energy: from the strength of our many volunteers to the companies that support and actively collaborate with us, and the associations we increasingly want to involve in sharing our common values. A few years ago, one evening, our seven clubs came together at Ca’ del Poggio for a shared project, and today they are inspiring more and more people. United, together, we can always do more.”

“With the Ca’ del Poggio Run we celebrate not only sport, but also the authentic beauty of our Prosecco Hills of Conegliano and Valdobbiadene, a UNESCO World Heritage Site,” commented Cinzia Sommariva, board member of the Consorzio di Tutela del Conegliano Valdobbiadene Prosecco DOCG. “Every step in this unique landscape tells the story of a territory that welcomes us, inspires us, and unites us. We thank the athletes, the communities, and all those who, with passion, work every day to enhance these lands that give us emotion, well-being, and pride.”

The mayor of Conegliano, Fabio Chies, was also enthusiastic: “The Ca’ del Poggio Run feels like it has existed forever, yet it has only been three years. It is a local event that has now gained national recognition. Thanks to the Ca’ del Poggio Run, awareness of the area spreads, participants have fun, and, not least, solidarity finds its place: we are a territory rich in initiatives, but the many volunteer associations working here always need support. Standing by them is a duty, and this seems to me the true added value of the Ca’ del Poggio Run.”

The 2025 edition of the event among the hills of Conegliano, which saw the participation of over 2,500 runners, thus concludes successfully and sets the date for 2026: the fourth edition of the Ca’ del Poggio Run will take place on October 18, once again under the banner of sport, local identity, and solidarity.

The three race options are confirmed – the competitive half marathon, the 19 km non-competitive race, and the 5 and 10 km Family Cross – with start and finish in the center of Conegliano. Registration opened last night on the Sportdolomiti.it portal. The Ca’ del Poggio Run has begun its journey toward the 2026 edition. See you on October 18.
