Caccia Pesca Natura 2026 puts people at the center

Nature, fishing, and hunting enthusiasts—guardians of the land—will take center stage at Longarone Fiere Dolomiti from April 17 to 19.

Longarone Fiere Dolomiti is ready for the 24th edition of “Caccia Pesca in Natura,” which will take place from Friday, April 17 to Sunday, April 19. “We are looking forward to welcoming everyone to Longarone,” invites Chiara Bortolas from the Fair’s Board of Directors, “where we showcase a world that revolves around hunting and fishing, and therefore the role of hunters and anglers, but above all the environment and nature of the province of Belluno. An unspoiled environment, which remains so also thanks to the work of hunters and fishermen.”

The figures confirm a rich exhibition: 120 direct exhibitors and 137 brands, of which 122 come from 13 Italian regions and 15 from 7 foreign countries, led by Hungary. In addition to products, equipment, and services dedicated to hunting, fishing, and outdoor living, visitors will also be able to admire some of Italy’s finest taxidermy works and the splendid dioramas created for the 22nd National Taxidermy Competition. With the 29th Hunter’s Festival, visitors will also be able to experience the world of game cuisine.

The President of the Province of Belluno, Marco Staunovo Polacco, highlighted the presence of “important educational and training events, also involving young people,” and recognized “Caccia Pesca Natura” as a key meeting point for the Belluno area, aimed at enhancing the territory through activities with schools and families. Also present at the conference, on behalf of President Stefani, was Silvia Calligaro, Regional Councillor of Veneto, who emphasized the Region’s constant participation in the event, both with its stand and with important conferences demonstrating ongoing work across the territory.

Among the conferences organized by the Veneto Region and the Province of Belluno, notable events include Friday afternoon’s “The Game Meat Supply Chain in the Province of Belluno: from Hypothesis to Reality – a Territorial Asset to Be Enhanced Before and After the Olympics.” On Saturday, discussions will focus on “Wildlife Projects in the Province of Belluno” and “Fish Fauna Protection Projects in the Veneto Region,” with the participation of Regional Councillor Dario Bond.

Claudio Canova, President of the Belluno Dolomites Fishing Basins APS, also spoke, noting that their stand will promote new initiatives planned for 2026 and host voting for the best drawing in the 4th “Adopt a Watercourse – Adopt a Fish” competition, with the awards ceremony scheduled for Sunday.

The fair will also feature the active participation of Fishing Basin No. 6 Maè–Piave, coordinated by President Andi Mussoi, including the usual Saturday competitions held on the Maè stream: a paired spinning fishing meet with artificial lures and a natural bait fishing competition. Following last year’s success, students from Enaip Longarone will again be involved with show cooking and tastings in collaboration with Fondazione UNA (Saturday). The area managed by FIPSAS National will also return, offering educational and recreational activities for all ages, including two multimedia reel fishing simulators and stations for magnetic fishing with a Roubaisienne rod, guided by expert coordinator Bruno Dotto and deputy technical coordinator Angelo De Pascalis of the National Education and Training Commission, supported by federal instructors from Belluno.

Full details of the many scheduled initiatives are available on the website www.longaronerefiere.it.

The fair will open on Friday, April 17 from 2:30 pm to 7:00 pm, and continue on Saturday and Sunday from 9:00 am to 7:00 pm.
