Lorena Camillo, a bartender from Ponte della Priula, won the New Opel Corsa 5 Porte matched with coupon E009 drawn during the closing Gala of the festival that, in a month of parades and shows, was attended by more than 200 thousand people
Conegliano (Treviso), April 6, 2023 – She is 54 years old, lives in Ponte della Priula and works as a bartender at the Cafe al Teatro in Conegliano, where she bought the winning ticket.
Lorena Camillo won the first prize in the Charity Lottery combined with Carnevali di Marca, the masks and floats festival that this year was attended by more than 200,000 people in the 21 parades and seven family shows staged in the period between January 22 and Mardi Gras day, February 21.
The first prize, drawn along with 29 other winning coupons during the Closing Gala of Carnivals 2023 in San Vendemiano and matched with ticket E009, consisted of a New Opel Corsa 5-door worth 21 thousand euros.
The car was handed over yesterday – Wednesday, April 5 – by Redo Bezzo, president of the Carnevali di Marca association, and Daniele Sarlo, managing director of Autogiada, one of the event’s historic top sponsors, who welcomed Ms. Lorena at the headquarters of the Autogiada dealership in San Fior.
“I need the car to go to work, and the one I had was beginning to feel the weight of years: it was a very welcome stroke of luck,” commented the winner, the fourth woman to win in the last four editions the first prize of the Charity Lottery.
The sale of the 20,500 tickets of the Carnevali di Marca Lottery allowed the total sum of 1,200 euros (5 cents for each 2.5-euro coupon) to be donated to three local associations engaged in social activities and reported by the municipalities involved in the event. The contribution went to the Casa Giulia OAMI Association of Giavera del Montello, the “Il Gruppo e La Tribù” Association of Nervesa della Battaglia, and the “Oltre Il Labirinto” Foundation of Treviso.
Winning tickets for the Charity Raffle can be found on the official website (www.carnevalidimarca.it) and on the association’s Facebook page. To collect the prizes, Carnevali di Marca invites people to come with the winning coupon to the Vittorio Veneto Tourist Office in Viale della Vittoria 110 (phone 0438-57243), open 7 days a week, from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., or in the afternoon from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. (except Sundays). Prizes not collected by April 30 will be left to the free availability of the sponsoring organization.
