Carnevali di Marca, the curtain falls on the 2026 edition: here are the winning tickets for the charity lottery

Yesterday evening in San Vendemiano, during the traditional end-of-season gala, the winning tickets associated with the thirty prizes up for grabs were drawn. President Redo Bezzo: “An edition to remember, but very demanding from an organizational point of view.” A special donation was also made to three local associations.

(15.03.2026) Carnevali di Marca closes another record-breaking season. Yesterday, Saturday March 14, in San Vendemiano, the traditional closing gala brought the curtain down on the 2026 edition of the event organized by the association chaired by Redo Bezzo.

The numbers? Twenty parades of allegorical floats and six family events over six weekends (including rescheduled events due to bad weather). The total audience is estimated at around 280,000 spectators, not counting the success of the Shrove Tuesday live broadcasts on Antenna Tre (for Treviso) and VenetoGlobe (for Conegliano).

“It was an edition to remember, but also very demanding, perhaps the most demanding ever,” commented Bezzo. “Costs have increased and the organizational effort has grown enormously as well. I thank the groups, associations and Pro Loco that worked for months to create floats and costumes. Thanks to the support of many people we are able to keep the Carnival tradition alive, offering well-organized, engaging shows carried out in complete safety. Among all the events, I would like to mention the parade in Casale sul Sile, which returned to the calendar after 40 years. A great satisfaction. I thank everyone: Carnival is a celebration, but also a huge team effort.”

About 300 people attended the event at the “Giovanni Paolo II” parish hall in San Vendemiano to celebrate the final act of the Carnevali di Marca season. Representatives of local administrations, sponsors, and nearly 100 floats and groups received warm applause. Between the opening parades in Tarzo and Pieve del Grappa and the closing ones in Treviso and Conegliano (with the additional rescheduled events last weekend in Sernaglia della Battaglia, Zenson di Piave and Villorba), more than 9,500 performers took part, in a burst of confetti, streamers and happiness. Among the guests at the San Vendemiano evening was also Member of Parliament Gianangelo Bof, who highlighted the social value and the role in promoting the territory played by Carnevali di Marca.

As usual, the San Vendemiano gala also featured the drawing of the charity lottery winning tickets: more than 20,000 tickets were sold during the parades. The total prize pool, worth 25,000 euros, included a New Opel Corsa 1.2 100 hp 5-door provided by Sarlo Group-Autogiada as the first prize, as well as shopping vouchers to be used at Toffolatti Gioielli and Maxì and Spak supermarkets. The prizes were distributed among the thirty tickets drawn during the evening.

For every ticket sold, 10 cents were also donated to local associations involved in social activities. This year the contribution – 1,000 euros each – went to Comunità Casa Giulia Oami in Giavera del Montello, the Association for People with Disabilities of Breda-Carbonera-Maserada ODV, and the La Nostra Famiglia Association in Conegliano. Carnevali di Marca never forgets solidarity.
