The fifth edition of Dolomiti HoReCa, the Longarone Fiere Dolomiti event dedicated to the world of mountain hospitality and dining, and beyond, has closed with growing numbers. This event, in the run-up to the Milan-Cortina 2026 Winter Olympics and Paralympics, confirms its strategic importance for businesses, professionals, and future operators in the Alpine tourism sector. Over the three days of its opening, over 7,200 visitors were registered, with a 15% increase in unique industry operators, demonstrating growing interest in quality, innovation, and sustainability in hospitality services.
Satisfaction also comes from trade associations. “The 2025 edition of Dolomiti HoReCa,” says Walter De Cassan, president of Federalberghi Belluno Dolomiti, “also proved to be an important opportunity to offer our members in-depth discussions on highly topical issues relating to tourism and hospitality businesses. We addressed issues related to digitalization and energy efficiency, with meetings that offered practical tools and concrete content.” For Confcommercio Belluno Dolomiti, Francesco De Toffol, an official, emphasizes that the event represents “a forum for fundamental networking and discussion. This is precisely where valuable collaborations are born, such as the one with ITS Academy Turismo Veneto and Veneto Lavoro, capable of generating concrete projects and solutions that benefit businesses and the development of tourism in the area.”
The results of Veneto Lavoro’s focus on employment and training were also significant. During the event, 75 job interviews were held, over 50% of which already led to a second meeting, with five job offers being made directly at the fair. What’s more, over 300 applications will be sent in the coming days to companies that did not participate in person or that have open positions. And on Wednesday morning alone, around thirty of the 50 available offers were submitted, confirming the vibrancy of the tourism market and the central role of Dolomiti HoReCa as a bridge between education and business.
The packed program also included the “Sport is Health” conference, the inaugural event of the “OlimpiCUP” series of meetings promoted by the Committee of Professions of the Province of Belluno in preparation for the 2026 Olympic and Paralympic Games. This high-profile cultural event, moderated by Luigi Pais dei Mori and introduced by CUP President Innocenzo Megali, featured presentations by Davide Calderone (University of Bologna), Diego Cason (sociologist), and Marilisa Corso (AULSS 1 Dolomiti). At the center, a reflection on the themes of health, prevention, body image, and the region’s demographic challenges, with sport seen as a vehicle for culture, inclusion, and collective well-being.
Overall, this edition’s results are very positive: Dolomiti HoReCa has grown in numbers, content, and engagement with local stakeholders. It has confirmed its position as a benchmark for mountain tourism, uniting businesses, institutions, students, and professionals around a common goal: building a future of quality and hospitality for the Dolomites, in the spirit of the 2026 Olympics. Meanwhile, Longarone Fiere Dolomiti is warming up for the next event: Arredamont, scheduled from October 25th to November 2nd.
