Tradition, innovation, and culture are at the heart of the Mountain Furnishings Show.
For nearly half a century, this event has showcased wood, homes, and the mountains. But it also showcases the know-how, craftsmanship, and ingenuity of a region that looks to the future without forgetting its roots. Arredamont, the National Mountain Furnishings Show, is back, taking place at Longarone Fiere Dolomiti from October 25th to November 2nd.
In its 47th edition, 187 companies will be present, covering 17,000 square meters of exhibition space, representing 235 brands from 11 Italian regions and 13 foreign countries. These numbers confirm Arredamont as one of the most important events in the sector. The official inauguration, with a ribbon-cutting ceremony, is scheduled for Saturday the 25th at 11:30 a.m. The Veneto Region will also be present, reaffirming its support for the fair and its role as a showcase for the wood-furniture sector and the mountain economy.
After the opening ceremony, a moment of great artistic intensity and remembrance will take place. Vincenzo Munaro will present two previously unseen works in the exhibition “Homage to Longarone – A Tragedy Foretold,” dedicated to the Vajont disaster. This exhibition intertwines art and collective memory in a place that symbolizes rebirth.
Craftsmanship and innovation will also be the focus of the first day, thanks to demonstrations promoted by Appia CNA, with companies such as Tonet, Galvani, and Farben 1962. Specifically, visitors will be able to observe the workmanship up close and participate in experiential workshops, discovering the secrets of the trade and understanding the daily life of artisans.
At 3:30 pm, the Confartigianato Village will also be opening its doors, for the first time, to XILOTECA.IT, the new online museum of wood sustainability, curated by the Wood/Furniture Group of Confartigianato Imprese Marca Trevigiana. This interactive platform was created to explore the world of wood species used in the sector. It’s a virtual archive that collects data, interesting facts, and characteristics of the materials used in furniture and construction. The goal is clear: to spread a culture of wood based on knowledge, the conscious use of resources, and respect for the environment.
As is tradition, Arredamont will also devote ample space to art and culture. Among the most anticipated exhibitions is “Scie di gloria,” an extraordinary collection of winter sports equipment that traces the history of skiing and mountain sports from the early twentieth century to the present day (open on October 25, 26, and 31, as well as November 1 and 2). And “Arte in Fiera Dolomiti,” featuring works by Italian and international artists, enhanced by the “Woman in Art” section, to highlight female creativity in the contemporary art scene.
Arredamont will be open Saturday and Sunday from 10:00 am to 7:00 pm, and weekdays from 2:00 pm to 7:00 pm. Between tradition and innovation, art and business, territory and future. Because in Longarone, the mountains are not just a place to live in, but to understand, build, and tell. Arredamont 2025 will be officially inaugurated on SATURDAY, OCTOBER 25 at 11:30 am.
Opening hours: Saturday and Sunday from 10:00 am to 7:00 pm, weekdays from 2:00 pm to 7:00 pm.
