MIG Longarone 2023: focus on business

The MIG – Mostra Internazionale del Gelato Artigianale (International Exhibition of Artisan Ice Cream) in Longarone, scheduled from November 26 to 29, 2023, presents itself, as never before, as an important appointment for companies and operators in the sector focused on finding the best technical and organizational solutions to increase business.

During the four opening days, entrance to the event, now in its 63rd edition, will in fact, for the first time, be allowed only to those in the artisan ice cream supply chain without the presence of the general public. This will allow, in a sober environment inspired by concreteness, the best possible way to carry out product and equipment presentation activities and business negotiations.

The exhibition landscape, also thanks to the adhesion of new companies, is exhaustive for every kind of need, with important specialized brands from Italy and abroad presenting the best proposals of products, machinery, accessories and services for the modern ice cream parlour.

But that’s not all. During the days of the fair, a program of information and updating on the management of the company has been prepared that is very useful in helping the ice cream maker to cope in the best possible way with the various challenges and to know how to seize the hidden opportunities that the not simple economic and social situation presents.

Prominent in this regard are the meetings held daily by Giacomo Tonelli, a well-known Business Coach specializing in the Artisanal Ice Cream Industry, on extremely topical issues such as price list drafting and how to increase profit in ice cream parlors. Participation in the meetings is free of charge, and the schedule will be defined soon and it will be possible to book directly on the website www.mostradelgelato.com.

Also in function of offering opportunities to meet and share useful experiences, on Tuesday, November 28, the “MIG Arena” area will host the presentation of successful business cases in the ice cream sector by several ice cream makers, including Christian Oddono, who directly from London will come to MIG to tell “The success of the ice cream maker across the Channel +”.

Then, for the exhibiting companies, surely useful will be the meetings with foreign buyers and operators who will attend MIG thanks also to the support of the Veneto Region through the dedicated company Venice Promex.

Among the useful initiatives to strengthen the action of MIG in the target countries of Eastern Europe is the agreement established with the sector fair Sirha in Budapest, to involve operators from that area, as well as the collaboration agreement with the company MEDINA GELUS d.o.o., which is promoting the 2023 edition of MIG in the target territories of the former Yugoslavia, Romania, Bulgaria, Hungary, and Poland and will be at the fair to promote some important company brands and accompany and assist groups of buyers from the Balkan area who will arrive in Longarone.
