At Longarone Fiere Dolomiti the approach to the next MIG – Mostra Internazionale del Gelato Artigianale, whose 63rd edition is scheduled from Sunday 26 to Wednesday 29 November 2023, has already begun.
After the good results achieved by MIG 2022, the Fair has set off immediately, starting from the indications expressed by the companies that took part in the recent edition, which represented, after the slowdown due to the pandemic, a very interesting basis for relaunch.
“We are working on several fronts to make MIG 2023 even more attractive and interesting,” says the new president, Michele Dal Farra. “Our commitment is to offer innovative services, stimulating attention all year round to foster communication with potential interlocutors and intercept contacts, especially foreign ones, to be finalized at the fair. Our target markets remain Germany, central and eastern European countries as well as Italian realities with an established ice cream tradition. We will also increase our focus on emerging areas with interesting growth potential in the medium term.”
MIG 2023 will be a trade show for operators only. For all four days of opening, entrance will be allowed only to industry business owners and their collaborators, so as to facilitate, in a traditionally sober environment, the conduct of presentations and negotiations.
The program of competitions and events will be revised to support the exhibition, addressing topics of great interest and topicality identified with the cooperation of the industry associations.
Space will also be given to training initiatives. MIG aims to be attractive, not only for the qualified exhibition scene, but also as a moment of professional and managerial updating, so necessary to operate in the socio-economic situation we are going through.
Finally, President Dal Farra points out that Longarone Fiere has been strengthened with the entry of Alessandro Piccinini, an export manager with consolidated collaborations and extensive experience in the exhibition field and in large companies in the sector. With his expertise, Piccinini will also have to reorganize the internal structure so that the changes being implemented will produce the expected results.
A periodic newsletter will keep informed about the programs, approach events and promotional initiatives that will be implemented during the year.
