Fifty years after the launch of the original Sandokan series, which first aired in January 1976, Kabir Bedi presents ACTION! Special Edition, a 1.5L magnum of Organic Prosecco DOC Extra Dry, signed by him and destined to become a cult classic for fans and enthusiasts around the world. The project is created in collaboration with Ponte1948, an international winery, and Care To Action, a Venetian NGO that has supported children, women, and vulnerable communities in India since 1991.
The evocative and iconic label is inspired by a mandala, a Sanskrit symbol representing the universe, with a concentric and symmetrical geometric design. Used in psychology by Carl Jung as a symbol of unity and the Self, the mandala is also an object of meditation. At the center is the face of a golden tiger, a symbol of strength and a tribute to Salgari’s character played by Bedi, who signed this project.
The bottle, ideal as a gift or to share at Christmas, is available at Enoteche Ponte and online at shop.ponte1948.it. Twenty percent of the proceeds will be donated to Care To Action for the “Edu-Care” program, which supports over 1,300 children in the slums of Vijayawada, ensuring their access to education and promoting the sustainable development of local communities.
