The Spring of Prosecco Superiore, the event that celebrates Prosecco Superiore DOCG and the places where it is born, is drawing to a close.

Opening next weekend will be Conegliano DOC.G Street Wine and Food, an event that will enliven Piazza Cima and via XX Settembre on 27 and 28 May. A very rich event that will combine the culture of wine with excellent local products: over 20 wineries and numerous venues in the historic center will celebrate the beauty of the Città del Cima and the Prosecco Superiore Conegliano Valdobbiadene for an entire weekend, including tastings, cicchetti, tastings , shows, entertainment and tourist itineraries. For the entire duration of the weekend, visitors will be able to taste Prosecco Superiore Conegliano Valdobbiadene DOCG and Colli di Conegliano DOCG, as well as other wines that express the territory. On the same days as the Exhibition, in the former San Francesco convent, you can visit the Market in Chiostro, an excellent fashion and craftsmanship exhibition-market, with over 20 exhibitors present.

On the other hand, the splendid setting of the Ancient Camaldolese Hermitage in Rua di Feletto will host the 52nd Exhibition of Hillside Wines of San Pietro di Feletto from 27 May to 11 June, enriched by a historical itinerary that winds between the cells of the Ancient Hermitage. Penultimate exhibition – in chronological order – of the Primavera del Prosecco cycle, the Mostra dei Vini di Collina opens its doors to visitors to the exhibition with a rich program of tastings, themed evenings and insights, concretely demonstrating how the added value of the combination ” wine and landscape” is an element of distinction and value. Visitors will be able to appreciate the many prestigious wines of local production presented by local companies, the true protagonists of the Exhibition. Particular effort, in fact, is dedicated by the Pro Loco to the revaluation of the ancient flavors of peasant culture, celebrating the magical embrace between “magnar ben” and “bever meio”.

Until 4 June, the 52nd Mostra del Vino Superiore dei Colli continues in Corbanese (TV). The exhibition includes culinary specialties to be paired with local wines, both white and red, and every evening will be enlivened by live music.

At 9.00 on June 2, SWEET ASPERITIES AT THE ATTACK OF THE COLLI will start. The plateau overflows / of dark ferns… Walk on the rolling hills surrounding the town of Corbanese in Tarzo (TV).

The Primavera del Prosecco Superiore also continues in Fregona where, until 28 May at the Torchiato drying center, the 47th Exhibition of Torchiato and Colli di Conegliano DOCG wines. The event was created to promote the wines that belong to the Colli di Conegliano DOCG: valuable reds, whites and straw wines, among which the extraordinary Torchiato di Fregona stands out. In this edition there are also the autochthonous white wines IGT Boschera, Verdiso and Incrocio Manzoni. The exhibition is framed by some events ranging from tastings to walks to discover the area, alternating with cultural and convivial moments. Not to be missed, on Saturdays and Sundays, are the guided tours “The history of Torchiato”, appointments in which the producers themselves will tell the tradition and secrets of this extraordinary sweet wine.

But Primavera del Prosecco Superiore also offers many collateral activities which, for the entire duration of the event, will offer interesting ideas for discovering the hills, a Unesco World Heritage Site, such as the exciting Slow Bike Primavera del Prosecco Superiore, an initiative promoted by Primavera del Prosecco Superiore and the Visit Prosecco Hills Business Network which offers the opportunity to admire and discover the beauties of the area on the saddle of an E-BIKE or MTB! Five food and wine rides scheduled between Wine Exhibitions of the Prosecco Spring, to discover vineyards and cellars, with tasting of typical products and wines of this splendid land.
