From 11 May to 24 August 2025
Bisi in Festa is back, the fourth edition of the food festival organised by Unpli Veneto, which, from 11 May to 24 August, will showcase one of the Veneto region’s flagship products: sweet and green bisi.
In addition to the seven traditional festivals that make up the calendar, this year there will be a new entry in Limana (BL), bringing the total number of events to eight, which will give life to a large-scale territorial marketing project that promotes the entire region.
The focus of the initiative is the enhancement and promotion of a niche product with a very short season that is not valued as it deserves. Yet the excellence of Veneto’s Bisi is also confirmed by the De.Co. (Municipal Designation) recognition for their historical and cultural value, awarded by the municipalities of Baone (PD), Longare – Lumignano (VI), Peseggia – Scorzè (VE) and Pozzolo – Villaga (VI), and by the quality mark awarded by the Treviso Chamber of Commerce for Borso del Grappa (TV).
This long journey of promotion has seen UNPLI Veneto collaborate with the Comunità dei Bisicoltori del Veneto (Community of Bisi Producers of Veneto), which carries out important work. Thanks to them and the commitment of volunteers, it has been possible to bring together different areas and products, creating a unique event in the region that aims to quickly become one of the leading food and wine events in Veneto.
The festival aims to serve consumers by promoting a culture of flavour as opposed to standardisation of taste and consumption, protecting the region’s traditions and excellence.
