The INTArt cultural association celebrates the 700th anniversary of the death of Dante Alighieri, poet, man of letters, politician, scholar of philosophy and theology, with an art exhibition dedicated to his most important work: the Divine Comedy.
Thanks to 33 artists, visitors will be able to retrace Dante’s journey into the afterlife by walking through the historic center of Conegliano, with a map in hand which identifies all the exhibition sites.
The Oratory Dell’Assunta in Piazza Giovanni Battista Cima will be dedicated to Hell, the Oratory of the Madonna della Neve in Calle Madonna della Neve al Purgatorio and, finally, the Church of Sant’Orsola in Piazzale del Castello al Paradiso.
The inauguration of the exhibition is scheduled for Friday 9 July at the Oratory of the Assumption. The exhibition will then be open on the following days and times: Friday 9 and 16 July: from 21:00 to 22:30, Saturday 10 and Sunday 11 and 18 July: from 10:00 to 11:00 and from 16:00 to 18 : 00.
On Saturday 17 July it will be possible to participate in guided tours, with readings of the verses of the great poet.
