German violinist and composer David Garrett, an international superstar with 24 gold and 16 platinum records, has announced his “Alive Tour 2022,” which will stop in Italy for six dates: in Rome, Genoa, Milan, Bologna, Bolzano and Conegliano.
he name of this Tour refers to his latest album “Alive – My Soundtrack,” a record in which the violist wants to celebrate life and hope after the dark period of the pandemic, drawing the audience into his musical world through his songs.
Conegliano will have the honor of hosting just his last concert in Italy, at the Zoppas Arena on Sunday, October 9, 2022. During his performance, Garrett, who plays a Stradivarius violin and a Vuillaume violin, will offer the audience famous songs such as “What A Wonderful World,” “Imagine,” “Beauty and the Beast,” “Paint it Black,” and “Happy,” as well as classical music that he has repurposed into rock and pop with his own innovative interpretations, such as “Confutatis,” “Dance of the Knights,” and “Seventh.”
