The magical setting of the Arena di Verona has been chosen by the Disney animation studios for an extraordinary event: the only Italian stage of the world tour “Disney 100 – The Concert”. On Saturday 13 May, the Roman amphitheatre will resound with the most famous music and the most beautiful films of the Disney house on the occasion of the centenary of its foundation.
Since its birth on 16 October 1923, The Walt Disney Company has been synonymous with fantasy, magic, dreams and emotions experienced in fascinating worlds and with soundtracks that remain engraved in the memory of young and old alike.
The show is transformed into an exciting and evocative multimedia experience through the projection on the big screen of some legendary scenes from the films, accompanied by the Hollywood Sound Orchestra and solo singers.
On the stage of Disney 100 The Concert all the favourites from the classic Disney era will be revived: Mickey Mouse, Cinderella, The Lion King and Mary Poppins, but there will also be space for the heroes of contemporary Disney including Pixar characters, Star Wars idols and Marvel superheroes.
