Giro d’Italia 2023: Veneto stages – 24, 25 and 26 May

The pink race will arrive in Veneto on 24 May and for three days will provide cycling fans with a great sporting moment.

17th stage, Wednesday 24 May: Pergine Valsugana – Caorle, 192 km

On Wednesday 24 May, the Pergine Valsugana-Caorle stage will be run. This is a stage for sprinters, which interrupts the big mountains of the last week. A completely flat stage with the crossing of the province of Trento and the entry to Treviso through Castelfranco and the transit to Jesolo in the last kilometres.

18th stage, Thursday 25 May: Oderzo – Val di Zoldo, 160 km

Thursday 25 May is the first taste of the Dolomites. The first asperity of the day involves the Crosetta, followed by the ascent towards Pieve d’Alpago. After the valley floor, we climb the Forcella Cibiana pass. The last asperity of the day is the one leading to Palafavera in Val di Zoldo.

19th stage, Friday 26th May: Longarone – Tre Cime di Lavaredo (Rif. Auronzo), 182 km

Classic Dolomite mountain stage with more than 4,500 metres of altitude difference. The Campolongo, Valparola, Giau, and Tre Croci passes will be climbed in rapid succession before the arrival with the tremendous ramps leading from Misurina to the finish line. Three times the 2,000 metres will be exceeded. A curiosity: when the race arrived on the Tre Cime, the weather was rarely clement.
