The Pieve Incontra cultural festival, organized by Adriana Rasera and supported by the City of Pieve di Soligo, inaugurates its ninth edition, positioning itself as a privileged observatory on the major issues of our time. Under the guiding theme “Dialogues on the Future,” the event aims to explore current events through the voices of internationally renowned guests, capable of interpreting the geopolitical, social, and scientific challenges defining the present. July 9: Circular Health.
The festival will close with the renowned international scientist Ilaria Capua. With thirty years of experience leading research groups in the field of diseases transmissible from animals to humans, Professor A. now directs the One Health Center of Excellence at the University of Florida. Thanks to her authority and ability to communicate, she has become an essential point of reference for the general public, offering fundamental insights into the global health challenges that have emerged during the COVID-19 emergency. Her presentation will help us look toward the scientific challenges of the future, integrating the approach to treatment and prevention into the broader debate on societal progress.
