It’s Christmas markets time in beautiful Verona!
Once again this year the long-awaited appointment with the Christkindlmarkt, the much-loved Nuremberg markets that will envelope Piazza dei Signori, Cortile Mercato Vecchio, Via della Costa, Piazza Indipendenza, Piazza Viviani, Lungadige San Giorgio, Ponte Pietra, Ponte di Castelvecchio and Piazza San Zeno in a magical atmosphere.
Distributed along the central areas of the historical city, the traditional small wooden houses will host a wide selection of exhibitors with typical food and wine products, handicrafts and delicious delicacies to be enjoyed while strolling among the stalls.
From wooden objects to handmade scarves, from natural soaps to Christmas gifts and then on to typical cold meats, artisanal liqueurs and traditional sweets, the Nuremberg markets are an opportunity to treat oneself to a special moment wrapped in the magical Christmas atmosphere of the city of Nuremberg.
Unmissable, also this year, are the stands where you can taste Lebkuchen, Pretzel, Bratwurst and Glühwein. Impossible to resist the delicious aromas of Christmas!
The Christkindlmarkt stands will be present in Verona from 12 November to 26 December 2021 and will observe the following opening hours: Sunday to Thursday 10.00 a.m. – 9.30 p.m.; Friday, Saturday and public holidays 10.00 a.m. – 11.00 p.m. (24 December exhibitors close at 5.00 p.m.; 25 December market opening at 4.00 p.m.; 26 December market closing at 6.00 p.m.).
