Verona. International Tennis Championships – 23 to 30 July

After the success of the last two years, the Internazionali di Tennis Città di Verona returns to the world tennis circuit, from 23 to 30 July.

Played on the clay courts of the Verona Tennis Club, the tournament is included in the ATP Challenger Tour calendar, in the 80 category. The main singles draw is composed of 32 participants, drawing professional players ranked from position 100 to 400 in the world ranking, while the doubles draw is composed of 16 pairs with four seeded players.

In the previous edition, the winner in the singles was the Pisan tennis player Francesco Maestrelli, who was born in 2002 and only turned professional in 2020, while in the doubles the winners of the trophy are the duo formed by the Italian Andrea Vavassori and the Venezuelan Luis David Martínez, both among the top 100 of the ATP ranking.

The Internazionali qualifiers are held on 23 and 24 July and allow some of the most promising Veronese and Italian players to be entered as wild-cards.
