Villafranca’s summer schedule includes among its guests the great French saxophonist Jimmy Sax: on Sunday 23 July the historic walls of the Scaligero Castle in Villafranca will host the artist accompanied by the Symphonic Dance Orchestra conducted by maestro Vincenzo Sorrentino, author of soundtracks for film and television.
Jimmy Sax’s talent has now established itself throughout the international music world. He is currently the world’s most famous saxophonist, an artist of great depth who can move without uttering a word, interpreting each piece with great intensity and grit.
A modern, eclectic and versatile musician, Jimmy Sax has taken his music everywhere: from Miami to Dubai, from Paris to New Delhi, via Capri, Cancun, St. Tropez and Monaco. The turning point in his career was the success of some of his videos on YouTube. His tracks on the platform recorded millions of listeners, so much so that the biggest record companies chose to invest in his talent. And the result was Jimmy, his first album, released in October 2021.
