Experiencing the B&B Alla Pergola restaurant will be a dive into the greenery of Prosecco, an immersion among the vineyards of the famous Glera, with a panoramic view of the surrounding hills. The intimate private garden houses a wild botanical garden with about 100 varieties, in which the fruits of the earth are used to prepare and enrich the dishes offered by the kitchen, including tomatoes, cucumbers, courgettes, aubergines and aromatic herbs.
The Alla Pergola restaurant was created from the old barn of the farmhouse of the grandparents of the owner Livio. The kitchen offers dishes of the typical Venetian tradition, with the use of seasonal and local products, available depending on availability.
Winery
Created inside the restaurant, in a secluded and cooler area, the winery is distinguished by thousands of local, national and international labels. The experience begins with bottles of prestigious vintages, such as the Imperial of Tarragona, from 1949, and continues with the Surlì, a sparkling wine from Col Fondo, and ends with well-known wines, including Amarone. The cellar also hosts honeys and cheeses made by local producers and mountain huts.
Salumi Alla Pergola
Homemade cured meats prepared directly by Livio and left to mature inside the cellar,
for an even more rustic and traditional atmosphere. An overwhelming aroma, where speck, sopressa de “casada” and guanciale stand out, used in one of the master dishes: carbonara.
B&B
3 comfortable bedrooms (2 doubles and one single), where the restoration has managed to maintain the characteristics of the farmhouse, with walls in native stones, exposed beams and wooden bed frames from the past. All with private bathroom, have access to the private garden, where you can be lulled by the birds singing and the sound of the wind on the leaves during breakfast.
Between Art and History
Inside the old barn, we find authentic pieces, such as the bucket and the stone obtained from a local quarry closed after the Second World War, perfectly in tune with modern elements, such as the lamp made with Murano glass. On the wall we find historic black and white photos and tools used in the fields by our predecessors.
The B&B Alla Pergola Restaurant is located in one of the most suggestive places of Le Colline del Prosecco, an excellent starting point to discover the Prosecco cellars, Cartizze and the reds of the Colli di Conegliano, let yourself be enveloped by the surrounding nature with bike rides, on foot or with Vespa rides and relax between lakes and rivers. Venice and the Dolomites mountain range are only 1 hour away by car.
