Conegliano (Treviso), January 19, 2025 – The strength of tradition, the pleasure of the party. Five thousand people, according to the estimate of the organizers of the Pro Loco, provided the backdrop for the parade of allegorical floats that, in the afternoon, traveled through the streets of Tarzo, inaugurating the 2025 edition of Carnevali di Marca.
Included in the 34th Festa della Candelora – tradition that adds to tradition – the parade of allegorical floats took place in Tarzo for the 41st edition. Preceding the parade, the dance group from the Movimento Fitness gym in Tarzo. Then, accompanied by the voice of Moreno Meneguz, ten masked floats paraded through the streets of the town, the result of the ingenuity, creativity and passion of groups of volunteers linked to parishes, schools and celebration committees.
These were the floats of the Parish Group of Nervesa della Battaglia (theme: “Dreaming of the Caribbean”), the Coriandolando Group for Pieve di Soligo (“The Jungle Book”), the Allegra Comitiva di Bidasio of Nervesa della Battaglia (“The Egyptians”), the Festeggiamenti association of Sernaglia della Battaglia (“Dreams in the drawer”), the Ragazzi Anni 80 association of Lovadina (“The Rainbow Dragon”), the Quei de Soligo Group (“Peter Pan and the crew of Soligo”), the Fon Fierun Group of Corbanese (“Hopi White Eagle”), the Dal Santo Group of Prata di Pordenone (“The 4 seasons”), the Friends of Tezze (“The farmer and the girl”) and the Allegria Group of Maserada (“Let’s season together”).
The 2025 edition of Carnevali di Marca includes 22 parades of allegorical floats and six events for families. After the appointment in Tarzo, the traditional review will continue with the stages of Susegana (January 26), Nervesa della Battaglia (February 1 evening), Pieve del Grappa (February 2), Bibano di Godega Sant’Urbano (February 2), Carbonera (February 9), Ponte della Muda (February 9), Pieve di Soligo (February 9), Farra di Soligo (February 15), Giavera del Montello (February 16), Sernaglia della Battaglia (February 16), Mareno di Piave (February 16, event for families), Villorba (February 16), San Vendemiano (February 22), Zero Branco (February 22), Santa Lucia di Piave (February 22 evening), Montebelluna (February 22 family events, February 23 parade), Breda di Piave (February 23 family event), Sant’Angelo di Treviso (March 1), Zenson di Piave (March 1 evening), Roncade (March 2), Vittorio Veneto (March 1 family events, March 2 parade), Conegliano (March 4), Treviso (March 1 and 2 family events, March 4 parade).
The official presentation of the event is scheduled for Saturday, January 25, at 11 am, at Ca’ del Poggio Ristorante & Resort, in San Pietro di Feletto. The party begins.
