Solidarity wins at the Ca’ del Poggio Run

Part of the proceeds from the running event that attracted over two thousand runners on October 20 were delivered yesterday to the Museo del Caffè Dersut in Conegliano: 3,600 euros were donated to the Fondazione Figli di Maria Antonietta Bernardi in Conegliano and to the Associazione Zuppa di Sasso in Nervesa della Battaglia. In 2025, the race will be held on October 19

Conegliano (Treviso), February 15, 2025 – Sport, territory, solidarity: a winning combination that also characterized the Ca’ del Poggio Run in 2024, a running event that took place last October 20 in the heart of the hills of Conegliano Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore DOCG, also running along the famous Muro di Ca’ del Poggio.

Yesterday, Friday 14 February, in Conegliano, in the evocative setting of the Museo del Caffè Dersut, the presidents of the seven sports clubs organizing the Ca’ del Poggio Run (Fuel to Run, E20Run, Cimavilla Running Team, G.P. La Piave, Running Team Conegliano, Scuola di Maratona Vittorio Veneto and Amici di Lutrano), united since last year in the CdPR Asd, of which Alberto Stocco, of Ca’ del Poggio, is honorary president, officially donated part of the proceeds of the 2024 edition.

A check for 1,800 euros was thus delivered to each of the two associations receiving the solidarity contribution: the Fondazione Figli di Maria Antonietta Bernardi of Conegliano, which deals with the education, assistance and care of minors in situations of social hardship, and the Associazione Zuppa di Sasso, based in Nervesa della Battaglia, which provides advice and support to parents, teachers, educators and operators involved in disorders of behavior and learning in developmental age.

The moment of the delivery of the solidarity contribution was accompanied by a visit to the Coffee Museum, illustrated by Lara Caballini di Sassoferrato, CEO of Dersut, a company that has been a partner and main sponsor of the Ca’ del Poggio Run since the first edition.

During this period, and for the entire month of February, the permanent collection of the Museum, consisting of the historical exhibition of roasters, grinders and coffee machines, is accompanied by the exhibition “Eco-rete sostenibile by Ricrearti”, an initiative that aims to create new products using materials that are no longer necessary for industrial production or corporate communication, and are therefore destined for disposal. An innovative approach, aimed at reducing waste and promoting a circular economy, which particularly impressed the guests of the Ca’ del Poggio Run.

The 2024 edition of the event in the Conegliano hills, characterized by the participation of over two thousand runners, is thus archived with success, making an appointment for 2025: the third edition of the Ca’ del Poggio Run will be held on October 19, once again in the name of sport, territory and solidarity.
