Veneto is preparing to shine in the final part of the Giro d’Italia 2025: the famous Corsa Rosa will cross the region with four stages that will offer spectacular views of its most representative places. The program of the 108th edition of the Giro was recently revealed: the competition will start on May 9th from Albania and will end on June 1st in Rome.
Thirteenth stage
Veneto will have a leading role from May 23rd, when the riders will face 180 kilometers from Rovigo to Vicenza, with arrival at the top of Monte Berico, ten years after the last passage through the city. During the route, the landscapes of the Veronese will also be crossed, passing through Cologna Veneta, Soave and San Bonifacio.
Fourteenth stage
On May 24, the stage will start from Treviso, one of the Italian cycling capitals, and will lead to the Slovenian border with the finish line in Nova Gorica.
Fifteenth stage
On May 25, it will be the turn of climb enthusiasts: from Fiume Veneto, in Friuli, the cyclists will arrive in Asiago, to tackle the Sette Comuni plateau, the scene of historic challenges.
Sixteenth stage
The last day of the Giro in Veneto will be May 27, starting from the splendid Villa Contarini in Piazzola sul Brenta, in the province of Padua, and ending in Trento, after passing through San Valentino.
The women’s Giro d’Italia
The women’s Giro d’Italia will also see Veneto as a protagonist, with the passage on July 9 between the provinces of Belluno and Treviso, and arrival in Pianezze di Valdobbiadene. The following day, July 10, the Mirano-Monselice stage will take place.
