Misurina is a small and enchanting tourist resort in the heart of the Dolomites, part of the municipality of Auronzo di Cadore. In the blue waters of its lake are reflected some of the most beautiful UNESCO-protected mountains in the Alps: Sorapìs, Cristallo and the Cadini group. But it is the sharp silhouettes of the Tre Cime di Lavaredo, the historical symbol of the province of Belluno, that enrapture the visitor’s gaze. The beauty of these natural rock monuments tells the stories of a century and a half of mountaineering to lovers of high-altitude adventures.
SUMMER
There are numerous proposals for outdoor activities: trekking and Nordic walking, mountain biking, climbing, free climbing, sport fishing. But the most sought-after destination is perhaps the Tre Cime di Lavaredo, which can be reached either on foot or by car, along the toll road from Misurina. A paradise for mountain enthusiasts, the Tre Cime are the perfect gym for climbing and walking.
WINTER
Abundant snowfall makes Misurina an ideal destination for winter tourism. About thirty kilometres of slopes of all difficulties between Monte Agudo and Col de Varda, offer exciting descents on skis or snowboards in a panorama of unique charm. For cross-country skiing with trails of varying difficulty there is the nearby Somadida Forest. Endless fun for the little ones in the Tre Cime Park with sledges and rubber dinghies for hire, while for first descents there are instructors at the school camp (with Baby Skilift on the slopes of Monte Agudo).
