Skyrun della Val di Zoldo: Transpelmo 2024 is running towards a sold out

The skyrun della Val di Zoldo, the Italian final of the Golden Trail National Series by Salomon circuit, has registered at one thousand. There are still a few bibs available. Registrations possible until August 25th. For the September 1st event, more space for the very young: two new categories for the Junior Race that has become Zoldino Run

Val di Zoldo. There are still a few days left to register and there are still a hundred bibs available for Transpelmo, the skyrun della Val di Zoldo that, as in the last two editions, will also be the Italian final of the Golden Trail National Series by Salomon circuit in 2024. The appointment is for Sunday 1 September: the program includes 19.5 kilometers (and 1,450 meters of elevation gain, both positive and negative), starting from the town of Pécol and arriving there, after having traveled the paths that run around Mount Pelmo, the “Caregon del Padreterno”, the Throne of God, the massif that stands at 3,168 meters above sea level in the heart of the Val di Zoldo and the Dolomites, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

The number of registered participants has reached one thousand in these hours. There are still about one hundred bibs available. The deadline for registration is set for Sunday 25 August: registration is possible by going to the official website of the event, www.transpelmo.com or on the portal www.sportdolomiti.it.

The registration fee includes a wide range of services that Transpelmo reserves as usual for each participant (from refreshments to parking, from medical assistance to final refreshments) and the technical gadget: this year in the race pack you will find a technical vest designed for running that guarantees maximum wearability and maximum breathability thanks to the Drysens Winter fabric.

Transpelmo will also have a special eye for the very young for next September 1st. In fact, this year the attention to budding runners has increased: in fact, two new categories have been added to the Junior Race, the race for children and teenagers renamed Zoldino Race, from the name of the event’s mascot. In addition to the Pitùs – Pulcini (0-6 years, 800-meter lap), Skiràte – Scoiattoli (7-9 years, 1500 meters) and Liòre – Lepri (10-12 years, 1500 meters) categories, the Cauriòl – Caprioli (13-15 years) and Camòrz – Camosci (16 – 17 years) will also be competing, competing on a course of about 3 kilometers. The various races will start at 10.10 and will be a very pleasant prologue to the Transpelmo arrivals. The start and finish are set in Pecol. Registrations can be received on the website www.transpelmo.com or at the Pecol tourist office. Participants in the Zoldino Race will also receive a technical t-shirt, as well as a … nutella party!
