The amateur sports association GLI EPICI is organizing the Epica dell’Acqua on Friday 18, Saturday 19 and Sunday 20 October 2024 (with members meeting on the evening of Thursday 17 October), a recreational motor walk of about 100km in three stages that takes place in the Veneto Po Delta, crossing the municipalities of Taglio di Po, Porto Tolle, Porto Viro and Rosolina (all municipalities in the Province of Rovigo).
Each stage starts at 9 in the morning. Participants will walk the stage (running or walking) each according to their own possibilities.
Each stage is made up of no less than 20 and no more than 40km, mostly flat.
The Sunday 20 October stage sees the departure of the walkers at 9 and the runners at 10. Participants are provided with the GPS track of the stages (the update always takes place the evening before for the following day) and the route is marked with vertical and horizontal signs sufficient for the normal running of the event.
For those who choose the “full experience”, the Epica dell’Acqua also includes an overnight stay the night before departure (the night between Thursday and Friday) and the two subsequent nights (Friday night and Saturday night).
