Between Monte Grappa and the Piave river, the road winds along gentle green hills of vineyards and woods where the ancient winemaking tradition sees products of great value in Prosecco and Rosso del Montello and Colli Asolani.

The road of the wines of Montello and Colli Asolani follows a simple and linear path, which crosses places of great importance with various points of interest. The road begins in Nervesa della Battaglia and, crossing the municipalities of the southern slope of Montello, it starts again from Montebelluna and from here it approaches the hills, reaching Caerano San Marco. To see the places of the Great War that left a clear mark in the toponymy of the area, in the remains of trenches, in the finds preserved in museums, in shelters, in mausoleums, in monuments to the fallen. The itinerary then goes back to Cornuda and continues to Maser where it is possible to visit the famous Villa del Palladio. The road ends in Asolo, a completely medieval village dominated by the remains of the mighty fortress, which already existed in the Late Empire, from which the plain could be monitored.

Between a visit to the winery and a tasting in an area that is the world capital of sports shoes, you can admire the treasures of the splendid villas that the Venetians built to supervise the works on the land, discover the testimonies of the Great War, visit ancient villages medieval times, or take advantage of the local cuisine that draws precious raw material from the many local products such as mushrooms from Montello, chestnuts from Monfenera, kidney beans from Levada, cherry from Maser, Morlacco del Grappa cheese, olive oil Veneto PDO of Grappa.

To see along the road are the marked itinerary of the Great War with the remains of the Abbey of S. Eustachio, monuments, trenches, posts, shrines and numerous other testimonies. Asolo, an ancient medieval village seat of the court of Queen Cornaro, Possagno, birthplace of Antonio Canova with the splendid Gipsoteca and the Canovian Temple which overlooks the verdant Val Cavasia. The Venetian villas, including the Villa di Maser, a masterpiece of Palladio frescoed by Veronese. Mount Grappa, its huts and the shrine. Prosecco, Chardonnay, Pinot grigio, Pinot bianco, Manzoni Bianco, Merlot, Cabernet, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Carmenère, Bianchetta, Montello and Colli Asolani red, Montello and Colli Asolani bianco, Montello and Colli Asolani Venegazzù.

The DOC vines of Prosecco, Merlot, Cabernet, Chardonnay, Pinot Bianco and Pinot Grigio were born and established themselves from the favorable climatic conditions of this area and the particular characteristics of the soil. The Prosecco vines find greater concentration on the Asolo hills, while Merlot and Cabernet are mostly grown in the Montello area. The production of Chardonnay and Pinot Bianco and Grigio is also good, which are also sold in the sparkling version.
